Slow Cooker Pulled Pork With Coke Recipe
BBQ pulled pork is a favourite of mine. It may not be particularly fancy or exciting, but there is something wonderful about the tender pork teamed with BBQ flavouring.
And we used to create it with a bottle of BBQ sauce on top after the pork was cooked.
This meant the flavours weren’t absorbed right through the meat. Unlike this Crock Pot pulled pork with Coke recipe.
Slow-cooked in the cola so your pork won’t end up dry. And loaded with flavour right through. Even before you add your sauce on top!

Serving Ideas For Pulled Pork
BBQ pulled pork is a great recipe to have up your sleeve because you can do a whole lot more with it than just add it to rolls.
If you are going for the bread roll or bread option, add coleslaw on top for that American cuisine inspired flavour. It may not be the healthiest meal in rotation, but it sure tastes great!
Or make your own loaded nachos or fries by topping with your slow-cooked pulled pork, salsa, cheese, sour cream and guacamole. YUM!
Pulled pork also tastes great on its own, served with salad or vegetables instead.
You can also freeze pulled pork for later and simply defrost, reheat and serve as you would when it comes straight out of the slow cooker. This makes a perfect quick meal for your freezer cooking rotation!

Does It Have To Be Coca Cola?
Don’t have a bottle of Coke on hand? That’s okay. Try experimenting with different brands of cola instead.
In fact, why not try different flavours too such as Cherry Coke pulled pork, zesty lime or lemon cola, Pepsi or Dr Pepper.
