Welcome to Simple Joy!

This blog aims to inspire people, share some stories to uplift souls, and provide positive vibes to every life. It also intends to make known the things that bring joy.
The world is a very beautiful place, isn’t it? Some of you might agree, while some would opposed that statement. Yes, the world is beautiful, and so life is.
There are lots of things that bring joy to people. Let us start from the air we breathe, the water we drink, the sunshine that keeps us warm, and the rain that makes us calm. Every individual has a distinctive interpretation of joy. Though sometimes mistaken as happiness. Joy comes from within, down deep into someone’s being, no matter what the circumstance is. It can make you stand amidst the difficulties that come to your life.
But do you know that simple joy comes with faith, too? Imagine you are a knight fighting against nomads. A knight should have his shield and spear and can never go to a battle without them. Without joy and faith in your heart, you will fail in the test of life.
How can we find simple joy? How to live by faith everyday?
And there, the creation of this blog serves its purpose.
Happy reading!

Hi! My name is Melanie, a multitasking mom, a blogger, an ESL teacher, and an SEO specialist. But the best title that I find the coolest is being a multitasking mom.
Multitasking mom? Yes, you read it right. I can do work, provide my daughter’s needs, and do the house chores all at the same time. Seems easy? Well, it is not. More of me, I love foods, and that makes me fall in love with cooking. I love to travel, too, and there are places that I desire to visit in the future.
My goal of creating this site is that a lot of ideas usually pop up into my mind, and I want to put them into writing. I want to reach out to people and let them realize that there are many things that bring joy. Simple things but those serve as the core of our faith.

As a human being, it is not easy to maintain a joyful heart. If you would graph it, it fluctuates. It would never be constant depending on how your body responds to struggles. Yet, there are ways to avoid a sudden drop in it, causing depression to people.

Join me in finding ways to simple joy. It will be a long journey but let’s try to make it worthy.
See you around!

My Favorite Bible Verses

I want to share with you the following bible verses. As I have told you, simple joy comes with faith, right? These verses are somewhat good to memorize so every time you fall short, you will be reminded of God’s promises.

        • Matthew 21:22 And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”

        • Luke 1:37 For nothing will be impossible with God.”

        • Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

        • Matthew 21:21-22  And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen. And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.

        • Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

        • John 3:16  “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

        • Psalm 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

        • Romans 15:13  May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

        • John 6:35 Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.
